You must have heard all that you want to about the pro’s and con’s of vaccinating your children. You want to do what’s best for your child, & have concluded that as a responsible parent, you should go the vaccination route. Yet, the side-effects listed by the pharmaceutical companies and other dangers of possible serious after-effects from the immunisations leave a lingering question in your mind: “Is there anything further I can do to protect my child?” The answer is yes!
There are dedicated groups now studying ways for the body to naturally fight the effects of vaccinations on children and infants. It may appear that is there are some simple food supplements that can be taken just before injections and in the days following that can buffer the brain & other parts of the body from harm. These studies and tests are in depth and you can dig further into the details to learn more. (The most popular at present seem to be Dr. Stephanie Cave’s and Dr. Robert Sears’ books and their corresponding website, Generation Rescue: www.generationrescue.org.)
One common thread throughout these studies is that there are a few simple steps recommended for parents to take if they’ve decided to vaccinate their children. They can give them:
• Cod liver oil capsules (or flavourful liquid types with natural mint, cherry, etc.)
• Vitamin C
• Flavonoids
Doctors recommend giving vitamin A (cod liver oil) once a day, for three days prior to vaccines, and for 10 days following. The recommended daily dose is:
• vitamin A: 1,500 IUs (International Units) for infants, while toddlers and preschoolers should receive 2,500 IUs, (but not for babies younger than 9 months.)
• vitamin C: 150 mg for infants, and 250 mg for toddlers and preschoolers.
Flavonoids help fight the long term immune reactions from the vaccines. Making a blend of parsley and celery into a daily liquid drink will give the child all the flavonoids needed for the few days following the vaccinations.
Furthermore, during the ‘flu season’, all are asking, “Did you get your kids flu shots?” Remember, regardless of the pressure, that final decision is up to you, the parent(s.) If you do go the immunisation route, try the tips above, and enjoy the peace of mind to know that you’ve done all you can to keep your child safe.
